Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy explains how DallantSI (“we”, “us”) collects, uses and deletes information when a merchant installs our Shopify app, Synonym Fix (the “App”).

Information we access

We don't collect shoppers' names, email addresses, IP addresses or payment details, and we don't set tracking cookies on your storefront. Billing is handled by Shopify.

How we use it

Only to run the App: applying synonyms, showing status and reports, sending emails you've turned on (like the weekly no-results email), answering support requests and improving the App.

We never sell your data

We don't sell, rent or trade your data. We share it only with service providers that host and run the App (such as our hosting and database providers, and an AI provider for the in-app assistant when you use it), and only as needed to provide the service, or when the law requires it.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while the App is installed. When you uninstall, we delete your shop's data. We support Shopify's mandatory privacy (GDPR) webhooks: customers/data_request, customers/redact and shop/redact. When Shopify sends a shop redaction request, which happens 48 hours after uninstall, we permanently erase that shop's records. Synonym tags written to your products stay until you remove them with the App's one-click removal or by bulk-removing tags starting with _sfx-.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and we store only what the App needs.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data. Contact us and we'll help.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date above.
